A guitarist and drummer at heart, I have played in several bands since the early nineties. Following this a succesfull career as a touring FOH engineer emerged with some higher profile artists, all the while still producing my own music throughout the 2000's. In 2017 I shifted to a new artistic direction and started my own record label "ZwaarteKracht", releasing some forward-thinking electronic music as Arsonist Recorder, and since then more releases on international labels have followed. 

 

I feel that my unique and eclectic trajectory allows me to be able to rely on a wide scope of skills and experience across many genres of music, both in producing and as a sound engineer.

I currently produce filmmusic and soundtracks under the name Patrix. Sonics are above all my language of preference, and sound-to-picture allows me to incorporate different stretches of this language into my work, as I have a strong affinity for abstract soundscaping as well as for engaging harmonic structures and arrangements.
